They traveled from New York and so did their family and friends from all over the world, to beautiful Donostia-San Sebastian in Spain to say “I do” and party hard the best possible way. See the whole destination wedding story below.
These two days of destination wedding celebration were filled with so many attractions! Let me give you the best image of this love overload.
First of all, if you’re getting married in the majestic Parroquia de Santa Maria y San Sebastián de Estepa in the old town of San Sebastián, you must accept to have the c r o w d s and extra guests. Also consider sun bathing tourists and locals at the promenade.
Once we have that covered, we can move on to more fun part: wedding pintxos tour! They’re Basque tapas known around the world. What our foodie couple decided to do, was to invite all the guests to hop from one pintxos bar to another and try all the snacks there while sightseeing San Sebastian old town. The tour ended with the best La Viña cheese cake for dessert, yum!
They also planned two amazing haute cuisine dinner receptions in the best restaurants in Basque Country, Mugaritz and Rekondo, both accompanied with cake cutting and emotional speeches. Double the fun! The last part of wedding celebration was dancing on a boat at La Concha promenade in San Sebastián. These two know how to partey!
In between all the hustle we stole the just married couple for a few minute break and a portrait photo session around Getaria with beautiful coast.
On top of that we had an amazing wedding fashion show – Stacy wore three wedding dresses, including a traditional, colorful embroidered wedding Hindu top and skirt as respect to her Groom’s family origin. Check them all out below.
It was a dream come true wedding for these two travel lovers. They chose San Sebastian for their wedding after Zubin’s bachelor party trip to Spain. Well, it’s hard not to fall in love with this beautiful country. Spain is a great place to organize your destination wedding in. Warm climate, amazing food and hospitality, breathtaking coastline with great spots for photoshoots. Since I learned already Spanish and I can communicate quite well (at least to greet and order tapas :D), shall we meet at your wedding in Spain? 🙂
